Auspicious lighting of the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games Torch at Ancient Olympia on 23 July 2010

It was an incredible ceremony as the rays of the very hot sun lit the YOG Torch. Hard to imagine that this tradition started more than 2,500 years ago.

We were all very proud to watch the Singapore Flag flying high in Ancient Olympia – birthplace of the Olympics.
